Graduates
Achieved or on target for a 2:1 degree in accountancy or a similar relevant business degree, have 3 A levels or equivalent qualifications and a minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English and looking to begin your career as a Chartered Accountant?
We offer a training contract and study package, studying towards the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) ACA professional qualification and a competitive salary.

Undergraduate Placements
As an undergraduate studying accountancy or a relevant business degree, you can apply to begin our standard training programme during a 9-12 month placement as part of your studies. You will have the opportunity of returning to complete your training after the successful conclusion of your degree.

THE BATES WESTON TRAINING PROGRAMME
STEP ONE
Learn the basics of accountancy : Through our dedicated mentoring system and one to one training, you will learn the principles of accounting.
STEP Two
Join one of our Relationship Teams : You will join a team, visit clients and work on assignments as directed by the Manager in your team.
STEP Three
Professional studies will start : You will enter into an approved training agreement and commence working towards your professional studies and examinations.
STEP Four
Attend tuition and revision courses : You will attend a tuition centre, studying the ICAEW (ACA) qualification.
STEP Five
Sit and pass exams
STEP six
Work on assignments allocated by your team : When you are not at the tuition centre you will work on a variety of assignments in your team, visiting clients and working in the office which gives you the opportunity to put all your learning into practice.
STEP seven
Pass final exams and become a qualified Chartered Accountant
