Achieved or on target for a 2:1 degree in accountancy or a similar relevant business degree, have 3 A levels (300 UCAS tariff points) or equivalent qualifications and a minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grade 6 (previously grade B) including Maths and English and looking to begin your career as a Chartered Accountant? Then we may have just the job for you.
In January we begin our annual graduate intake process. The programme is now full for 2019, but will reopen to applicants again in January 2020. In the meantime, register your interest in our 2020 graduate intake.
We offer offer a training contract and study package, studying towards the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) ACA professional qualification and a competitive salary.

Each year we consider recruiting A level candidates as apprentice trainee accountants. You would study for an accountancy qualification with full study support given by Bates Weston, on the job learning and mentoring and an excellent salary package.
Our intake is full for the current year, but do check back in with us in January 2020.
The Bates Weston Training Programme
Learn the basics of accountancy : Through our dedicated mentoring system and one to one training, you will learn the principles of accounting.
Join one of our Relationship Teams : You will join a team, visit clients and work on assignments as directed by the Manager in your team.
Professional studies will start : You will enter into an approved training agreement and commence working towards your professional studies and examinations.
Attend tuition and revision courses : You will attend a tuition centre, studying the ICAEW (ACA) qualification.
Sit and pass exams
Work on assignments allocated by your team : When you are not at the tuition centre you will work on a variety of assignments in your team, visiting clients and working in the office which gives you the opportunity to put all your learning into practice.
Pass final exams and become a qualified Chartered Accountant
Your mentor tailors your programme to you. We want you to succeed.
